The free checker: your text never leaves your browser

The free listing checker at /check runs entirely in your browser. Text you paste is never uploaded, stored or logged, and analytics and error reporting are switched off on that page. While you type and screen, it makes no network requests. Once per visit — when you click “Write a clean version” or leave the page — it sends one anonymous usage count: how many characters were checked and how many risks and cautions were found, with a random id kept in your browser. Never the text. If you use “Copy share link”, the text is placed inside the link after the # sign, which browsers don't send to servers — but anyone you share the link with can read it.

What we store when you have an account

• Account: email, name, brokerage and state, and your sign-in records.
• Listings: the facts you enter, the generated copy, its flags, and how each flag was resolved — this is what your compliance reports are built from.
• Generation records: prompt version, model, token counts, timing and cost, used to monitor quality and limits.
• Voice profile: sample listings you paste and the style summary made from them.
• Billing: plan and subscription status. Stripe holds your payment details.
• Usage analytics: page views and product events (for example “listing created”), tied to your user id rather than your email.

How we use it

To provide the service: writing and screening your copy, keeping your history, billing, and sending account emails. Listing facts are sent to Anthropic only to generate your copy. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your listings to train AI models.

Subprocessors

These companies process data on our behalf, under contracts that limit use to providing their service:

• Supabase — Database, authentication and file storage for your account and listings
• Anthropic — AI model that writes and rewrites listing copy from your facts
• Stripe — Payments and subscription billing (card details never touch our servers)
• Resend — Sign-in links and account emails
• PostHog — Product analytics, keyed to your user id (never on the free checker)
• Sentry — Error monitoring, configured not to collect personal data
• Vercel — Hosting and content delivery

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is open. Delete a listing and it's removed from your account; close your account and we delete your data within 30 days, except billing records we must keep by law.

Your rights

You can access, export, correct or delete your data. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights; we honor them for all users. Contact us from the email address on your account and we'll respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and, outside the free checker, for product analytics. We don't use advertising cookies.
